Although pavers have a higher PSI rating than standard concrete surfaces, they are not impervious to oil, rust, dirt and other substances that can penetrate the concrete making them difficult to remove.


Minnesota Outdoor Solutions offers a Paver Enhancement Program (PEP) to protect your Paver and Retaining Wall investment. The two most important things you can do to revitalize your exterior surfaces are cleaning and sealing and joint re-sanding.

1. Cleaning and Sealing:
   Cleaning and sealing is an excellent way to protect your investment. There are a variety of products that can transform your pavers to a "new" looking state. Clean up dirty, oil or rust stained pavers and seal them to protect from future staining.
   
   Sealing offers not only protection from stains but also gives a new look to the pavers in either a matte finish, or a wet look (low gloss or high gloss). The matte sealer keeps the look of a dry paver but protects your surface from absorbing oil and other debris making it much easier to keep clean. The wet look brings out and holds the true color of the pavers. The appearance is just like after a rain.
   
   Depending on surface traffic, sealing can hold its luster for years.
   
   
2. Re-sanding Surface Joints
   Are you experiencing paver problems that include weeds in the joints or insects pushing sand out of the cracks? Polymeric Sand is a great solution to these issues. This product has the same look and texture as regular sand yet it hardens in the joint creating a virtually impenetrable barrier to weeds, insects and washout.
   
   This is also a great solution for natural stone surfaces where the joints have been washed out making the stones wobbly. This compound provides long-lasting stability and durability to your outdoor surfaces.
